In compliance with the New York City Earned Sick Time Act of 2014, any McIntyre Group Temporary Associate working in New York City is eligible to accrue earned sick leave hours in accordance with this law. Eligible NYC Associates, who work more than 80 hours in NYC in a calendar year, accrue 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum accrual of 40 hours per calendar year. It is the policy of The McIntyre Group that documentation may be requested to support the authorized reason for use of accrued sick time if the absence is for more than 3 consecutive work days and no pay out of accrued, unused sick time will be made at the time of employment separation.
