Meet TMG Employee Spotlight Sarah Binderberger
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
I was published in a fitness magazine years ago called Fit Yoga. It was a 4-page article about why Yoga is beneficial for cyclists.
What are two of your favorite hobbies?
Soap making and furniture painting! I have a creative side and these two hobbies allow me to show that side of me.
What gets you out of bed every morning?
The ability to help lives. It’s what keeps me hungry in this industry. Matching talent with opportunity. I truly believe this. Also my daughter!
When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a teacher or a vet.
Do you have any pets? What are their names and what are they like?
I have a French Bulldog named Indigo. He is 10 months old and a sweet boy.
What kind of activities do you like to do with your friends or family?
I have done triathlons for years and am going to get back into it. We love to sit at the firepit and play games. I love hosting people at my house. We also LOVE to be at the beach. We can spend hours on our SUP’s.
What was your favorite vacation?
I am a lover of all things Disney. My favorite was the Disney cruise I took my mom, daughter, and nephew on.
If you could have dinner with any person from any time period, who would it be and why?
Walt Disney. I find him very inspirational.
Before working at your current job, what was the most interesting job you had?
I owned a restaurant and nightclub. That was most certainly interesting before working at McIntyre.
What is your favorite thing about your job?
The opportunity to change lives daily. It is what kept me in this business!
What’s unique about the culture at your company?
It’s a true work hard, play hard mentality. We love what we do and how what we do affects our community. We celebrate our successes as well as help one another. While we are all in sales roles, we can impact our community by sharing opportunities with talent and launch careers. We also are the makers of our own future.
What advice would you give to someone looking for a job right now?
Find something you are passionate about. Something that you can’t wait to do and that you are compelled to do. It then isn’t really “work”!
What do you find most rewarding about your job?
When the perfect match is made or when you see a recruiter start to excel in their craft.
What led you to a career in staffing?
I went to school for HR and what I loved most was the recruitment piece. I fell into staffing.
